Employee Surveys
Employee surveys have moved on from simply gauging ‘are our employees happy?’ to a more sophisticated tool, providing insights into how to improve every aspect of your business and, ultimately, the bottom line. In short ‘prevention is better than a cure’ when it comes to developing the culture of your organisation.
When we sit down with clients who are considering running an employee survey, we look to design a study which not only identfies the issues, but one which can also form the basis for action programmes covering one or more of the following issues:
Wellness – this is all about trying to ensure your employees are fit and healthy as a basis for improved morale and performance in the work place.
Absenteeism – drawing comparisons with national statistics and looking at the underlying causes and trends over time.
Engagement – with your employees all being ambassadors for your company and its products/services, how well do they represent the reality and aspirations of your organisation?
Incentives – whilst most companies now have cascading levels of company and personal performance targets backed with incentives and rewards – how well are these actual measures performing?
Subject to the nature of your organisation, budget and time scales, we can employ a range of methodologies ranging from online surveys to face-to-face interviews.
Once designed, an employee survey from Cognisant Research establishes a base line for the current position. Then, for an incremental cost it can be repeated, normally on an annual basis, in order to track the effectiveness of your programmes, to develop and shape your organisation’s culture.
